OneDrive Guide

First, open OneDrive. This will either show on your taskbar where the RED arrow shows, or it will be hidden which can be found in the area that the AMBER arrow shows.

Next, login to your account by following the screenshots below.

Enter your email address in the box shown below.

After this, you will begin to configure OneDrive. Leave the information below as it is set by default.

OneDrive will now sync up your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders. Wait for this to complete, then proceed through the screens that follow.

Now you will be able to save files into your OneDrive, go to "File Explorer"

Down the left-hand pane you will see the "OneDrive" icon appear. If you followed through the previous steps, you will be able to save items into your OneDrive from the areas highlighted with a RED arrow.

You will notice that files that are saved in your OneDrive will show the icon below. This can also show a GREEN tick which also indicates that it is saved in your OneDrive account.

In some instances you will see a RED cross in the "Status" column. If you see this, go to your OneDrive icon as below and look at the "Sync Issues" area at the top of the tab that opens. If you're unsure of how to resolve this, contact IT Desk.
